Fly-tipping and Illegal Occupiers: Avoid the Nightmare of Illegal Incursion - Hardwicke
London -
Litigation and enforcement

Hardwicke in partnership with the Burlington Group are hosting a seminar on the issue of illegal occupation and fly-tipping on green spaces and industrial areas.
In recent years, green spaces (and increasingly commercial/industrial areas) have been blighted by illegal encampments, the dumping of personal and domestic waste as well as commercial fly-tipping.  It is a multi-million pound headache for local authorities and other landowners up and down the country.

This seminar looks at a new and highly effective approach developed by Steven Woolf and supported by the High Court, which saves considerable time and huge sums of money spent evicting unwanted occupiers and cleaning up after incursions.

The seminar will also look at the work carried out by Jonathan Chatfield of the Burlington Group, (authorised High Court Enforcement Officers) once the protective injunctions have been obtained.

Jonathan and his team have been at the forefront of helping landowners and in particular Local Authorities regain vacant possession, but their contribution in serving the protective injunctive order once it has been obtained and enforcing it, is invaluable to the process that Steven will be speaking about.

By the end of the seminar, you will know how a local authority landowner can obtain effective and enforceable protection for not only its green spaces but also its commercial areas, in less time than it would take to get a single Possession Order and at a fraction of the cost.
